Why Coworking?

As the economy continues to weaken and layoffs continuing to grow we find more and more people are being pushed into becoming entrepreneurs.  Having worked for Corporate America gave many people skills that are transferrable into building a small business thus creating new jobs.  With limited access to financing for start ups, most find themselves working from home in order to launch their new business.

Working from home does have its advantages.  It certainly is cost effective as most have a limited budget and it’s great to have the freedom and flexibility you desire.  However, the disadvantage is you find that you work in isolation, you are unable to brainstorm or problem solve with other people and you can’t meet clients in a professional setting.  More importantly, you find that you actually never leave “your job” and home is no longer the place to unwind after a long day.

While small business growth is obviously the foundation of our country’s economic recovery plan, they desperately need the tools and resources to succeed and flourish in order to create new jobs.  Sandbox was created to do just that, a professional office setting with a home office budget.

Coworking is an emerging trend for a new way of working. Small business owners, independent professionals and entrepreneurs no longer have to work at home in isolation or go to your noisy local coffee shop.
